Limited Company annual accounts:-

The main difference between a Limited Company and a Sole trader or Partnership is that a Limited Company is a separate legal entity from its Directors and Shareholders and as such is required to complete annual accounts and tax computations for Companies House (Register of Companies) and HMRC. Each Director of the Limited Company will have a legal requirement to complete a self assessment tax return also. Furthermore, each Limited company in the U.K. is required to complete an Annual Return to Companies House and depending on the company structure may have to register and process PAYE for employees and depending on sector may have to operate the Construction Industry Scheme.
